Release the hounds. Or the Foxes. A wonderful week if you use a browser on the internet. I’m relatively sure that you do if you’re seeing this anyways. In fact, according to my stats, 67.9% of you over the last month have been using IE. ![](../../awstats/icon/browser/msie.png) **MS Internet Explorer** No 11366 67.9 % ![](../../awstats/icon/browser/firefox.png) **Firefox** No 4176 24.9 % ![](../../awstats/icon/browser/safari.png) Safari No 521 3. What's the point having a blog if you can't rant the first thing in the morning?

  • October 23, 2006
So I’m driving to work this morning down 14th Street. Ahead of me is a dark blue or purple Hyundai Accent. In about as good shape as any Hyundai Accent ever truly is. And I’m amazed with just how long the driver can go without hitting his or her brakes. Amazingly long - we’re talking miles and miles here, not just a few blocks. Down a hill no less. I’d sure hate to be that transmission. Step 1: Mix the ground corn meal and water in a bowl to get approximately the right consistency. Mess around for the next 20 minutes trying to get it to where I’m happy with the consistency. Step 2: Mess around trying to make the tortilla shells without having them stick like crazy to the tortilla maker. Step 3: Listen to the tortilla press as it cracks loudly. Step 4: Panic. Read More

The follies of HP

  • September 13, 2006
Almost half my life ago, I tried to come up with a code of morality that I would choose to try to live by. Somedays I do better than others. But like the Thirteen Virutes of Benjamin Franklin, they serve as a guide to all I do. Frankly, had I known Franklin’s ideas (heavy reading alert) earlier I would have saved myself the trouble. I decided the four cornerstones of my life was to be honourable, trustworthy, as equitable as possible, and respectful towards others. Why should I have to explain a blog anymore when Lore Sjöberg has done all the hard work for me? Thanks Lore. How can I refuse to link to you when you’ve got insight such as: ”Creating your own blog is about as easy as creating your own urine, and you’re about as likely to find someone else interested in it.”Excuse me, I think your dog just piddled on my spewage.
